Budweiser Cheese Dip Budweiser

Check out this cheese dip made with a Bud! Use can or bottle, light or regular!

Yield 10 oz of dip - Ingredients

  • 1 can Budweiser
  • 8 oz sharp cheddar, shredded
  • 8 oz gruyere, shredded
  • 1 tblsp A.P. Flour
  • 2 tblsp Worcestershire
  • 1 tblsp Sriracha hot chili sauce
  • 0.5 onion, medium diced
  • 0.5 tblsp garlic powder
  • 0.5 tblsp chilli powder
  • 1 tblsp olive oil
  • 0.5 tblsp salt
  • 0.5 tblsp pepper


  1. In a mixing bowl, mix the two cheeses together with the flour making sure that all three ingredients are fully incorporated
  2. In a medium sauce pot, heat on high and add olive oil until it starts to smoke
  3. Immediately add onions and sauté until light golden brown
  4. Season sautéed onions with garlic powder, chili powder, salt and pepper and stir until mixed
  5. Deglaze by adding beer, Worchester, and sriracha
  6. Bring to a boil and then add cheese/flour mix ¼ at a time
  7. Be sure to constantly stir and ensure that most if not all of the cheese is melted before adding the next batch
  8. Serve very warm with crackers, pretzels, or bread
