It's pretty simple! Fully cooked, smoked turkey drumsticks can be heated in the oven. All you really have to do is add a bit of water, cover, and slow bake! Here's what you need to do.
- First preheat the oven to 250 degrees Fahrenheit.
- Add a dash of water, or broth, to the a baking pan or dish. Amount depends on how many legs! Just use a bit to keep things moist. You don't want the legs sitting in a puddle of water.
- Place the legs in the pan and cover with foil.
- Bake for two hours, rotating the pan in the oven, until you have an internal temp of 155 degrees!
That's really all there is to it! You can use cookie sheets or simply foil wraps on a grill. The idea is to warm slowly to keep the meat tender. In a way, this method is actually an extension of the slow smoked cooking process that the legs were cooked with.
